Cup Catcher - Carin Style

My version on the cup catcher (I found Lilie's "No Throw") cup holder. We used it all the time. I thought I would make my own from cute fabric I had left over.

It works on all sippy cups.

You just loop it threw on strollers, carseats and playpens.

I will have one everywhere she will use a sippy.

They don't hit the ground, Ava has learned to tow hers back up.

Lilie learned how to break boards on Monday at her Tae Kwon Do class. We walked in right as she was doing it so I wasn't able to catch in on film:( Next time!

Second Bag

I really like this bag, I made my own pattern for it. I modeled it after an Amy Butler bag called Frenchy Bag. I looked at a lot of photos for the bag, since I wasn't willing to pay $12 for her pattern and wait a week for it to come... The bag came out pretty good, I am still learning, I used fuseable interfacing for the first time and really like the stiffness that gives a bag. I tried to get a picture of the pin tucks in the front but you can't see it with the fabric. ( Yeah I had a little left over from Lilies bag and had to use it up, Lilie picked the pink inside) I have more fabric on it's way and I am borrowing a pattern or two from the gal who got this sewing monster started!

Ava is standing a lot with out hands now. She has even tried to take that first step but aways ends up crawling.

I blame Sara

Armed with the neighbors sewing machine and the fabric bug thanks to my friend Sara I made my first bag. It's not perfect by any means but Lilie loves and that is what is important. She has already put her cell phone in one of the 6 pockets.

The are done with their shots for one year, woo hoo! We have switched from travel in a crate to car...next is the truck.
