Happy 2009

We rang in the new year with some great friends, great food and big laughs thanks to the Kennedy's. Our New Years eve tradition is to pick up fresh crabs from Phil's Fish Market and steam them. You know one of those old fashion "crab cracks" bowls of melted butter, and shell flying everywhere. We also always seem to have a bottle of great champagne from Amanda's parents. Last year was Dom Perignon this year was Dan and Amanda's one year anniversary bottle of Cristal. (We had to open it a little early due to Amanda being prego and needing to share more than she drank) After dinner we rang in 2009 east coast time and kicked the kids off the Wii so the adults could rocked out on the Wii. My hubby had to have the Rock Band set up. We have Amanda on drums, Luke on guitar and Josh & Jen on vocals and road manager Dan. I had to snap a few photos and head home (next door) to put the littlest one to bed.

The kids resorted to old school Leap Frog

I really think this video says a lot! Remember they are all sober!

Hope you had a great New Years eve 2008 best luck in 2009!

Thank you and good night!

ROCK ON!!!!

Tastes like Christmas

Ava found she can scoot to get places, like under the tree and she can pull her self up if it's for the right thing like kissing her self in the mirror!

Christmas in Turlock #1

We went to Turlock this weekend to spend "Christmas" with my mom, Papa Larry came over too for dinner and gift. We had a great time and a wonderful dinner. There are too many pictures I love, I had a really hard time picking just 6 to put up. Please check out the shutterfly photos here to see them all!
While at Grandma Patties Ava finally rolled over all by herself!
Here is that video

Very rare sight, Ava snuggling (she is not a cuddle bug!)
Video of Ava's favorite things of the season:
envelopes, gift bags and tissue paper
Pre Ava Lilie would go to Grandma's house for over nights every so often. Now that Ava is here she doesn't want to leave her even for one night. We are working on her separating from Ava for a night:-) She is quite attached to her litter sister and vies verse. Ava laughs the hardest for Lilie. They have only known each other 5 full months and they already have an obvious bond. It is so amazing.
