Random things we did.

Lilie has decided she wants to be a dentist, so she observed Ava's teeth cleaning, she took pictures too. I guess it's a good thing our dentist love our girls!

For the record Ava stated she wants to be a farrier and exterminator ( her words were mouse killer). Lilie had big hair for picture day, her request.

I got some sewing done, this was for my mom's birthday.
More true colors
And a Boppy cover (nursing pillow) for a friend.

Save them if you got them!

Lilie school is collecting Box Tops for Education and Labels for Education. Spring Grove school does this to help raise money for the students and teachers. They are also offering the option to do a direct donation so kids don't have to do fundraisers (sell candy, wrapping paper and cookie dough) I LOVE this idea! You can go straight to the PTO web site and make a tax deductible donation and 100% of the funds go to school unlike fundraisers that the max the school gets is 50% and those are hard to find.

Box tops are worth 10 cents each.

Campbell's Labels have a variety of points
Save them if you have them and send them Lilies way, Thanks!

Baking time

I tried my hand at making jam for the first time, and the girls and I agree it was successful! Josh isn't a fig fan so he doesn't count. Free figs and extra jars mean it was time to give it a try. I found a recipe online and I was ready to cook! Pick your own has lots of recipes and I will be going back for more recipes. It came out to such a pretty pink. The girls have eaten a jar already and requested I make more. The other three jars where claimed by friends and family:)

Lilie is learning how to read recipes and follow their directions. This is very fun for me to do with her. She tried her hand a a Pumpkin Doughnut Muffin recipe. They came out wonderfully!

Ava watched on. Flying flour was very funny until they had to clean it up. Smells so good Ready to pass out to the neighbors. the recipe calls for muffin pans we did mini muffin/doughnuts and Lilies pick of mini bundts. Next on her baking list chocolate chip cookies, YUM!
