Maybe this will help me

One of the blogs I stock gave me the great idea to put our dinner list on our blog. I can post recipes as I remember to:) I am hoping this will help me from looking at the clock at 4 o'clock pm and going what can I put together for dinner. And this should help me try out some new recipes too, I stock enough food blogs and print out enough recipes time to use them! Feel free to send me some idea's for dinners and easy breakfasts.

Such a good big sister

Lilie is such a great big sister! She was playing out front with Ava this past weekend (while the weather was nice) and came yelling in the house, "grab your camera, you gotta see this!". The photos and movie will explain what Lilie was so excited to teach Ava. To bad the battery was on it's last leg.

Movie Time

Lilie wanted her to stay on the grass for a softer landing in case Ava fell. Last time Ava tried to drive the Dora ATV she ran into the little white car with her foot stuck on the gas and her body hanging off.

Pulling up to the gate at work I hear Ava in the back YELLING, "I wanna dri (drive) Momma! Out Mamma, dri Momma!" A few days ago Lilie was driving at work and now Ava is behind the wheel. She wasn't to do everything her sister does.

Candy out my eyes!

So a very "sweet" friend of mine who works in the office at the local candy factory, Marich Confectionery brought me a bag of goodies. The bag had a little of everthing, chocolate ( they do privet lable for Trader Joes and Starbucks), jelly beans (they were the orginal Jelly Belly but Mr. Marich sold his recipe to Jelly Belly), gummi's and more. They are the not so pretty ones that they don't sell. Curriosity got the best of me so I weighed the candy on the Wii, and the total weight of candy came out to me....drum roll please....11lbs!! Not wanting all that in my house I busted out the Ziploc bags. Pictured bellow is one of five bags I broke the megga bag into.

We did some measuring and Sumo is 32" at his shoulders and Miko is 30" at her shoulders. Sumo is 5'4" from tip of nose to tip of tail. They are 1 year 2 months and 2 weeks old

This SUCKS

Second time in three days at the pediatrician. Ava is now on antibiotics and we are stuck at home still. Nothing like having Lilie home from school for a week of sunny & warm wonderful weather and being suck inside. Poor Ava looks at the park as we drive to the doc and asked to go play and we can't go. I am so sick of runny noses and coughing. Now to top it off Lilie has a slight runny nose and cough.

Best Hubby

One of the two things I asked for from my hubby for Valentines Day was wonderful Kara's Cupcakes. I think you are either a Sprinkles fan or Kara's fan. I am sooo a Kara's fan!!!

These are two of the five he brought home for us the share. Ava fell asleep before she could try them. I was a little to excited to eat so I didn't get a photo of all of them.

With the girls at Grandma's house Josh and I started Valentines Day with a 5k run (Josh's first). It was the 25th Together with Love Valentines walk/run hosted by the Monterey Bay Rape Crisis Center It was a beautiful fun along the ocean, leaving from Lovers Point Park, Pacific Grove and turning around just past the Pacific Grove Municipal golf course. It was perfect weather with wonderful views. Josh of course was ahead of me and finish first but it was fun to do a run with him.

After the run we headed to Rosines Restaurant for a yummy breakfast. We walked threw a little craft fair by the warf and made our way down the warf and back.

Then off to a store I can walk around for hours in... We picked up a few things for dinner and headed to our next stop, a relatively new shopping center in Marina, Ca. Josh was headed for the Best Buy to pick up some new movies, but I wanted to check out the REI. (I could spend a few hours here too)
Our last stop was to pick up a few articholks at Pezzini's Family Farm in Castroville

As if we hadn't done enough walking we took the dogs for a little mile and a half cruz around the neighbor hood. That seems to be the max they can do.

The first movie is starting as I finish this up so I am off to watch Zombie Land while the dogs snore away.

Look ma no hands!

Lilie has been trying to teach Ava how to do this for almost as long as she has been out of me! Haha but it's true. Ava finally got it and it was a HAPPY day in our house. What does this say about our family?

She really doesn't have the nose for this yet, just a rather flat spoon.

Movie time

For some reason Ava LOVES this movie. The girls hung out with popcorn and juice for part of the movie the other evening.

For those of you who don't know the movie is called Monters Inc. Next will be Nemo:)

1-2 tic tac

After hearing Ava count to herself I tried like hell to get her to count for me. I resorted to candy aka Tic Tac mints, orange of course;) She would only go to two with the camera but when counting Go Fish cards in her room she would go to three.

Lilie took fourth place out of all the second grade classes. Whoo hoo go Lilie B. So this means next friday Ava and I get to hang out at school for a good part of the day. V-day breakfast with her class and then off to watch Lilie recite her poem in front of the whole school.

One Sister For Sale!

Lilie did this poem this year. She was one of three picked from her class to compete against the whole 2nd grade.

Foster Daughter

Friday night we had Josh's dad retirement party. So we had the trusty babysitter come on over and spend the night. She also spent the next two days with us running around. I think she had a little fun.
