With our second spurt of summer upon us Ava and I decided to hit the pool at work. The temperature is around 85 degrees at 11 o'clock and the water was calling our name. By 2:30 it is to stinking hot with the temperature gauge reading 105.
Ava was so excited when we got to work she suited up and ran around until she fell asleep in my chair. I had to wake her up to swim.
This photo was taken yesterday at work it was day two in big girls chones (underwear). She wants so bad to ride a sheep (mutton busting) like her big sister. After asking over and over for about 2 weeks I finally told her sheep don't like diapers to which she added or Pull-ups. She ditched the diapers, excepts at naps and bed time, she HATES Pull-up. Two days later and one accident, not bad considering we aren't staying home life as normal going for walks, visiting friends, going to the store. We are busy and we have seen Targets bathroom and Safeway's. Hope this lasts!
Ava wanted to snuggle the other night so I stuck her in bed with Lilie, (who didn't mind). They started out on their own sides of the bed.And ended up a little closer half way threw the night.I have a feeling they will do this a few more times.
Six o'clock rolled around and we were headed back to the fair grounds for some bull and sheep riding. Josh's first rodeo, this was just bull riding (PBR) so we will be hitting another one so he can get the whole rodeo experience.

Yahhooo Lilie way to Bust those Mutton
"Riding a sheep makes you hungry mom." Late night PB&J's all around
Ava is to cool for her family. She has adopted the Abercrombies as her forster family. She rode to the mutton busting with them. They are also the reason Lilie wanted to do the mutton busting. She is going to be busting mutton next year. Home to rest than back to the PBRs to ride again
