A seat for two?

At the closest mall to us they have a "family restroom" a place to change diapers, warm a bottle, nurse and of course the big potty and little potty. Lilie told me that some day she will take Ava in here and Ava will use the little one and she will use the big one:-) Ahh the dreams of a big sister!

Santa's Blog!

Check out Santa's Blog here

Lilie e-mailed Santa here she was very impressed!

Never to young to drive off road!

In order to get our Christmas decor out of the attic Josh had to pull Baby out. Since Lilie has driven Baby with Dad it was now Ava's turn to drive:-) I think we found Lilies co-pilot think she can read a map?!

You know it's cold when...

your car tells you ICE!

Sinterklaas

Last year a new tradition was started thanks to Taunta and her parents. We put out our wooden shoes called klompen (everyone in our house has the slipper version except Lilie who loves her wooden shoes) and Sinterklaas visits and leaves a gift. We left a cookie for Sinterklaas and baby carrots for his horse. You can read more here about the history behind it. And to see pictures from last year celebration you can look here.

5 month mile stone

Ava can now get up on all fours and hold her self up and she can scoot backwards when she is upset. I will try to catch her in the act when I find my missing camera:-)
But Ava has no desire to roll all the way over, she is happy to make it to her side.

Cabin day one

On our first day at the cabin we went for a drive to check out the fire damage from a few years back and then to try our hand at fishing. The cabin is located in the Eldorado National Forest. All the photos from the day can be seen here
