Fall and Fun

My wonderful husband surprised me with one of my FAVORITE things that only comes around ones in a great while. This time it is in Hollister for 4 weeks only. They are so bad for you but so good too. As we enter the end of October my car is telling me their is a shift in the morning temp.


Ava's cloths have gone from shorts and flip flops to bundle up baby!

But by 3 o'clock the kids has lost the outer layers and playing in the streets. Neighbor Tyler is driving this crazy train.

The kids had fun playing with this critter we found on Josh's truck.

Fun at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

I packed up lunches for Lilies field trip. Our baby sitter Alisha came with to take Ava through the aquarium while I toured with my group of kids. This was our group of gals

We spent 45min in the aquarium classroom. We feed Abalone, played with Olive Snails and talked about rocky and sandy shores.

These are the Olive Snails at my station. We took them from a plain water tray to a sand filled tray where the snails burrowed into the the sand.

It wasn't until the end of classroom time thatI realized this guy was behind me, a kelp crab.

The girls liked the Flamingos.

And this penguin thought she was one of the girls♥

We moved on to a touch and feel pool the girls held ocean hermit crabs.

They all got to touch the bat rays, which they were very excited about.

The wave wall was fun.

Sleep over fun

Summer spent the night this weekend. You never know what is going to happen at a sleep over.

Once dolled up the girls headed out to ride bikes and scooters. Wow what an interesting make-up job...

What a day!

We took a field trip to the Claravale Farm, a raw milk farm with our MOMS Club it was a very interesting and informative trip. There are a lot of photos but this is how the day started, when I left my bed to go jogging at 5:30 my spot was taken by these two little girls. After school Ava and I picked up Lilie and drove a little over an hour out to the farm.

The kids were able to track the milk from the cow through the filter and into the cooling container. On a potty break we found this critter.
