Josh found this recipe in the Nob Hill Food magazine I brought home the other day. It was one that seemed to easy to be that good. I was wrong, it was easy and good!12 homemade tortillas later:)And skirt steak BBQ by the same husband that made me a beer:) I also tried a new cookie recipe that makes 1 dozen cookies. It was a pretty good one.

Just a few

G-ma Pattie came over this weekend for some birthday celebrating. Lilie picked the dinner,spaghetti tacos, corn and broccoli. Peach cobbler/crisp for dessert

Not the only squeaker

While cruzing San Juan Bautista in her squeaky shoes a very nice lady said that Ava and her shoes reminder her a Cheers show she had seen. Click here to see why.

Summer is here (late Aug.)

Ahh summer is finally here and this means...

hot weather for a few days.

the garden is starting to produce.

Bunco Girls

Race ready- kind of

Part of cleaning out the garage includes taking "Baby" out for a drive. Josh and Lilie headed out for a cruz around the neighborhood only to run out of gas. Good thing we have great neighbors and one of them towed them home. The clouds were so pretty

Take two off they go again- with a cell phone this time, in case it wasn't the empty gas tank.

Lock and loaded Uncle Dan helped lock Lilie in.

It was easier to clean the garage out with the girls like this:) I think they put a few miles on the truck and didn't go anywhere

But they had fun!

Ava has learned she can scooter around with the big girls

Dentist

When Lilie was two she started having her teeth checked. So it was only natural that now that Ava is two and Lilie and I were due for a cleaning that Ava had a try at a tooth check up. It went so well the dentist decided to see if Ava would object to a full on cleaning. Well Ava didn't object at all she laid down and opened up.

Because it not a pediatrics dentist office Ava is the youngest person in the office to have her teeth cleaned:)

While Lilie is at school Ava and I find some fun stuff to do. One day we visited a friend and checked out her new kitchen. Ava played on the drums.
