Office Assistant Day

To kill a few birds with one stone we, dropped off Debbies car for an oil change, headed over to Fresh Choice to use my two for one coupon and celebrate the fact that I still come to work everyday:).

I love the honey butter and Debbie is one of the few people who whouldn't bat an eyelash if I ate a whole plate of it with one corn bread muffin. I think Ava had fun eating there too.

Big Sur 5k

Well we did it and it sucked! Not a good one to do after a 2 month break. Lots of hills:( but great beach view we jogged right along the beach for a mile of it. But I think we could have walked it as fast as we jog/walked it. We were 13.30 min mile so 6 min more than our flat San Juan Bautista run plus 2 months off. I am not picking anymore it's all Wendy:) I think we are going to do a run on mothers day in Castroville then 2-3 weeks later the Red Barn Run in San Juan. She is going to kill me!

Fishing 101

The first day out fishingI will trust Lilie next time fishing. 3 casts and Lilie says I have a fish. Amanda & I say no your just stuck probably. She gets it (the fish) to shore it shakes out of the water & off the hook. Stupid fish Stupid us! The second day fishing we could see the fish just couldn't get it to take the bait. The good news is Lilie ca cast with the best of them now!

We have pasted Ghirardelli's Outlet a few time and had to stop this time. It's chocolate for heaven sakes!

Fun around camp

After a nap in the bunk beds the girls had some fun around camp. Ava and Uncle Dan checked out the view, then the girls helped Uncle Dan work on Ava's bike. Lilie took a few bike rides with Dad and Uncle Dan. Dan bought her ice cream, dad got her a fishing license.

Around town

There isn't much around Camanche we stopped at Lockeford Meat market and then we hit Clements Ridge for a little snack. At Lockeford we picked up different kinds of sausage and jerky and a special order of teriyaki beef sticks for my mom. At Clements Ridge I got a sugar free strawberry rhubarb pie (frozen taken-bake), Josh got a great sandwich, Lilie had some strawberry pie and Uncle Dan got some peanuts and Ava helped herself then so did the rest of us.

My Birthday

My hubby brought home a killer cheese cake from Whole Foods for my birthday! Ava has been singing all week:) I love a long birthday celebration!
