Garden update continues

We cooked some of our corn and it was great. Lilie said that it tasted better than store bought stuff because we grew it:) Love that!! My Brussels sprouts have been fighting a losing battle against aphids so we got a few lady bugs to help out the situation.

This photo is not from our garden but the garden of the women who we purchase our tomato plants from. She has so many different colored fruits and vegys. We picked up a purple jalapeno a white tomato and the most fragrant basil. We also picked up 3 jars of the best jam for one of the gals who helps out on the farm. We had to walk around and check out all the other stuff grown. She has such pretty stuff. Ava had to smell all the flowers, Lilie helped her. What a great big sister:)

Lunch with the Suttons

How exciting for me!

A few months back I fell in LOVE with this fabric. My dear friend and the reason I started sewing volunteered to make me a bag. I had forgotten about it and she has been really busy with all the fun things life throws at you as a wife and mom. It happened that when I hit my 5% mark at Weight Watcher she was finishing the bag and extra goodies. Not only did I lose 14lbs in the past 7 weeks I also got these great gifts!

IKEA!

We hit Ikea this week. Our day starting with a great 99¢ breakfast at Ikea. We cruised all levels and came home with a few goodies to put together. We met Josh and his dad for lunch at the job site. Then headed home to assemble our hearts way.

What can I say?

When she is giving out kisses you take them even the dogs know that.

Six Flags

Josh took a couple days off for some family time...

Day one Six Flags:

We had great timing that day we hit all the shows we wanted and just happened to walk into this great photo opportunity. You might have noticed we picked up and extra daughter. This is Erika, she came along to do rides with Lilie that we didn't want to do and so Josh and I could do rides together. Erika also is our sitter for date nights.

We stopped in Danville to have dinner with friends. Ava learned to sniff the flowers and she hasn't missed one since!
