3 months old today

Ava is 3 months old, and by my measurements she is 25" long and around 13lbs plus some. This outfit was way to cute not to take photos in. We are borrowing it from my friend Amy who's husband teaches Josh and Lilies Tea Kwon Do classes.

Camping weekend

Unfortunately we started our weekend on a sad note Thursday with the funeral services for Josh's paternal Grandmother. The services were done very nicely with a wonderful tribute dvd (think powerpoint).
After that we headed to our long awaited camping trip. We enjoyed a 3 day weekend swimming, relaxing and eating. We met Amanda's parents up at Lake San Antonio. Lilie found a new love, being pulled behind Wiggles (Uncle Dan's boat) on the tube. She didn't mind being tossed off either. Next summer she is learning how to ski, she said she wants her sister to watch her.

Papa, Hand-me-downs & Snowball

Papa Ken came to visit yesterday

With him he brought all sorts of goodies.

Hand-me-downs, infant life jacket and a wave master (a punching/kicking thing) for Josh and Lilie to practice on.

Opa & Oma gave Ava her first pet his name is Snowball. (He should sing)

Snowball and Twinkie are now living in the state of wedded bliss. What happens when you mix a yellow Twinkie with an orange Snowball? I guess we will find out this spring.

TKD Match

We were out of the house by 4:25am, hit Starbucks at 5am and up at the college at 7am. We sat and waited for our teams to compete which wasn't until noon. But we were able to watch a lot of different people compete in form and weapons. Their were kids as young as 3 up to the senior division. We screamed our heads off for all the students who were competing from TKD Athletic Studio. We were on the road headed for dinner with part of the team by 5pm. So it was an all day thing, 5am-5pm but well worth it.

Josh took first in his fight!! Lilie is now considering competition team, HELP ME! It was great to see how everyone cheered for each other. There are two Josh's on our team, one much younger than our Josh, so you might hear the kids yelling for Big Josh:-)

I might be a TKD Mom instead of Soccer Mom, do they make a shirt for that?

Josh kicks the guy in the head (face) it's suppose to be 2 pts but he only got one. The guy had a black and blue mark almost instantly.

3 videos and one photo

Ava and I work in Lilie's class on Fridays from 9:30-11:ish. Today was the first day. Happy to say we both made it out alive. I tested kids, Ava played and slept. And yes that is Dusty talking in the back ground of all the videos:-) We will be watching Josh spar at a tournament located at Saint Mary's College of California located in Moraga. We have to meet the group at 4:30 in the morning to carpool up there. I will post pictures and video Sunday.

Sick days

Lilie was sick on Monday and stayed home from school, she laid in bed all day and Ava and I did the same thing for the most part. But we were back up and running on Tuesday. Ava and I are working all day at the book fair (tues/weds/thurs) at Lilies school. The kids from Lilies class last year love seeing Ava and Lilie loves showing her sister off. It's cute!
